...The way you want! It's that time of year again. That day that EVERYONE seems to unlock their boxes of thoughts about. A day that some dread, some excite themselves with, and some just don't see the point. Some people just don't care and simply treat it as a normal day. To me, yes everyone is entitled to their opinion about VALENTINE'S DAY, February 14th...BUT what I despise about Valentine's Day is when people who DON'T fancy Valentine's Day want to ruin it for those who actually love to celebrate it. Yes, to you, it may be just another day and we should all show love to each other every day; I agree...but if someone wants to go that extra mile and treat their loved ones on this particular day, LET THEM! Don't go on Facebook or Twitter or whatever social network you use to voice your opinion and debate that you'd probably get a few likes or no likes on and bash those who are in favour of 14/02!
Just because one celebrates Valentine's Day, it doesn't mean that the next day and the next, they don't show love AT ALL! The way I see it, it's another special day of the year. It may not be as major as Christmas or Easter, but it's still another special day in the calendar LIKE Christmas and Easter. If everyone should treat Valentine's Day as just another normal day in their life; WITH REGARDS to sharing and spending time together, Christmas and Easter should be every day. Every person has their reasons for celebrating or not celebrating a particular event. If one celebrates Valentine's, it's their choice, if one doesn't, it's their choice again. You are entitled to do what you want about the 14th of this month, but don't make anyone feel differently about this particular day because of your theory behind it.
I guess some of us are just hopeless romantics. Who doesn't love to be wined and dined ay? It's not everyday you get to show your appreciation for your loved one in a big way, why not do it on Valentine's? Or any other day you can. It doesn't matter. It's up to you, no one else's.
So, Happy Valentine's Day to you all, regardless :D
